We are looking for a dynamic person to join our team at the Bayfield House overlooking the water in Penetanguishene.

Being part of our service teams you will be responsible for ensuring your service station is properly prepped and side station backed up correctly. Ensuring orders from residents are taken correctly and professionally. Delivering residents orders in a friendly engaging manner. You will also be responsible for ensuring the end of shift duties are completed and any other duties as assigned by the Culinary Manager.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Follow established policies, procedures, work systems and cleaning procedures to meet regulatory requirements
- Ensures food is prepared and served in accordance with health and food guidelines
- Participates in meal presentation
- Works cooperatively with the interdisciplinary team
- Assists in organising food preparation to ensure all meals and snacks are served on time, at an appropriate temperature, texture and quantity
- Cleans, cares for and stores equipment properly in designated areas after each use
- Responsible for reporting any required repair work or deficiency in the environment
- Delivers and serves meals according to residents assessed needs
- Assists with dining room clean-up, tear down, set up, dishes and garbage disposable
- Assists in preparing the food and the environment for all special events
- Must participate on various lodge and department committees as required
- Must actively participate in ongoing educational opportunities
- Works cooperatively with volunteers and student placements to enhance the scope of the department
- Is competent in the safe use of chemicals (WHMIS guidelines)
