**Maintenance Labourer**

Diversified Transportation is currently looking for a Maintenance Labourer to join its team in Fort McKay. Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Labourer is responsible for general labour duties both within and outside of the facility. **This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintenance, such as shop cleaning up and minor vehicle main duties/general clean up (picking up of garbage, bagging and disposing)
- Assist with minor building repairs
- May be required to manually handle cleaning solutions; cleaning of buildings and equipment
- Be aware of health and safety issues and ensure all staff is able to work in a safe manner, reporting issues as necessary
- Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures
- Perform any other duties that are deemed reasonable by the Facility Manager

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Previous janitorial and/or labourer experience is preferred
- Clean class 5 driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; carry/push and pull up to 10 pounds; stand, walk, bend, reach, power grip and use hand dexterity occasionally; reach, bend, twist, and do repetitive work frequently
- Must be able to work alone, in potentially extreme hot weather, in dry, dusty, vaporous, noisy environments
- Successfully pass a literacy test as well as a basic Shop Orientation and WHMIS test
- Possess a clear drug and alcohol test result and a satisfactory criminal record check
- Must possess strong abilities to follow oral or written instructions as required
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with shop staff and trades
- Work in a team oriented, culturally diverse workforce

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
