Machining & Inspection Operator - Afternoon Shift

**Reports to**: Afternoon Shift Lead and Production Supervisor
**Responsibilities**:
- Operate machinery in a safe manner at all times.
- Operate manual and automatic grinding equipment
- Operate manual saws
- Operate automatic machining system
- Use verniers measuring parts to criteria
- Load and unload kilns.
- Inspection and packaging of finished goods to ensure it meets customer criteria.
- Pack product according to specific procedure.
- Participation in 5S teams for each department.
- Other duties are required
**Qualifications**:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment, an asset.
- Must have reliable attendance.
- Experience with calipers and micrometers is preferred.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to work in a fast -paced environment.
- Motivated, who always thinks in a positive proactive manner.
- Ability to be on their feet for the entire shift.
- Requires the ability to lift over 50lbs several times during the shift, unassisted.
- Quick learner who easily adapts to change.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Able to work overtime, as required.
- **This is an afternoon shift position.**_
- **Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm.**_

Pay: From $21.97 per hour
