We are currently looking for a full-time Catering Manager to join our team who will also be required to assist with retail operations and specifically brands as a part of their regular routine.
**The Catering Manager will be a ‘ROCK STAR’ in...**
- Accountable for all booking, coordinating, and following-up on all catering events, including multiple events at one time.
- Provide menu suggestions and pricing to customers and clients.
- Ensure specifications and requests of each catering event or function are communicated and executed effectively.
- Responsible for the training catering staff in service techniques, menu presentation, and customer service, as well as overseeing the scheduling of catering staff.
- Collaborate with the Chef in menu planning and costing; involved in sales contract reviews; ensuring invoices are inputted correctly and reconciled if required
- Support the team with administrative projects when required
- Track and monitor the labor and food cost for each event.
- Maintain excellent client relationships and ensure visitor satisfaction with catered events

**We are looking for someone who has...**
- Three plus years of food service management experience.
- Catering experience is required - weddings, banquets, VIP events, receptions and day-to-day coffee services.
- Able to train a diverse team, (consisting of in-house & agency employees) on catering standards, etiquette and customer service.
- Great financial management skills; great with numbers
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with excellent culinary skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and presentation skills
- Strong people and customer service skills; great at relationship building
- Retail operation and brand knowledge, (including Tim Hortons and Starbucks)
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and readily acceptable to change work priorities at any time
- Great computer skills (ex. Microsoft Office, Word, Excel)
