**Details**:

- Manage daily operations of distribution warehouse, including shipping/receiving, storage, order picking, inventory management, safety, and facility maintenance.
- Coordinate regular shipments from distribution centre to branches as well as interbranch shipments. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods while optimizing routing and transportation costs.
- Work with the procurement team to provide insights on customer demand and market trends that help with optimizing product assortment and inventory levels.
- Analyze data and performance metrics and be accountable for key performance indicators (KPI) including warehouse efficiency, cost management, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure proper staffing and resources to meet operational requirements. Manage staff and assign work activities. Conduct performance evaluations, coach and provide guidance and training as needed.
- Facilitate and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including health & safety.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in warehouse management is required, preferably in a comparable industry, including knowledge of warehouse operations, staff management, logistics and inventory management.
- SCMP designation is preferred, or at least some post-secondary training in business or supply chain management.
- Demonstrated success in implementing and achieving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong leadership and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and related software, as well as great analytical and problem-solving skills.
