Food Service worker required who has successfully completed their Food Handlers Certificate and is current; must also have Three Vaccinations. Police check and TB testing required. Preference will be given to individuals who possess a _Food Service Worker Certificate _

- _**DUTIES**_include: setting/clearing dining tables, portioning food selections from steamtable for residents as outlined; preparing beverage cart with coffee/tea, snacks; warewashing, garbage/laundry removal, sweeping, mopping
- Must be able to read, write and accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must have reliable transportation as public transit not available.
- Must demonstrate proper food preparation and presentation for a variety of cultural preferences.
- Must be knowledgeable about the Long-Term Care Act
- Must be knowledgeable of special, therapeutic, and texture modified diets
- Must be physically able to lift and transfer heavy, hot items and stand for majority of shift.
- Must be able to work accurately, quickly, and safely.
- Must be an effective team player that works well with others.
- Must be able to work and communicate effectively with long-term care residents.

Shifts are 6:15am
- 1:00pm or 3:15pm-7:15pm

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.46 per hour

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
