Front-End DZ Driver
**Location**: 8050 Woodbine Ave., Markham, ON
**Position Type**: Permanent Full-Time
**Reporting to**: Operations Manager
**Start Date**: Immediately
**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 4:00am start
**Compensation**: $31.99 per hour

**Summary**:
The Front-End DZ Driver is responsible for safely operating Front-Load collection vehicles and ensuring timely service across York Region and the GTA. This role requires flexibility, a clean driving record, strong knowledge of local roads, and the physical ability to handle containers. Excellent communication, customer service, and adherence to safety protocols are essential.

**Responsibilities**:
In the position of Front-End DZ Driver. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- The safe and efficient operation of Front-Load trucks.
- Must have excellent knowledge of and be familiar with the roads in the York Region/GTA roads and surrounding areas.
- Ensure customers are serviced as per their contractual requirements and schedules.
- Physical ability to safely push and pull various sizes and weights of containers in and out of enclosures and rooms.
- Unlocking and locking of containers and enclosures/rooms.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Meet or exceed performance and productivity expectations through proven results.
- Comply with all Miller Waste System and Provincial health and safety policies and procedures.
- During some periods you will be required to assist with driving for residential collections.
- **Competencies & Qualifications**:

- Must have a valid DZ Driver’s Licence.
- A clean Driver's Abstract and CVOR, is a necessity.
- Organizational skills should be exceptional.
- A minimum of 1 year of Front-End experience is a must.
- Must be able to work independently, with mínimal supervision.
- Flexibility and work schedule should coincide with necessary start and end times.
- Working overtime, Saturdays and Statutory Holidays is a must.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills are preferred.
- Must maintain excellent attendance and performance record.
