Front-End Driver

**Location**: 8050 Woodbine Ave, Markham, Ontario L3R 2N8
**Position Type**: Permanent Full-Time - Day Shift
**Reporting**: ICI Supervisor
**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 4:00am - 6:30am start
**Hourly Rate**: 31.99

**Responsibilities**:
In the position of Front-End Driver, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- The safe and efficient operation of a Front-Load trucks.
- Must have excellent knowledge of and be familiar with the roads in the GTA and surrounding areas
- Ensure Customers are serviced as per their contractual requirements and schedules
- Physical ability to safely push and pull various sizes and weights of containers in and out of enclosures and rooms. Unlocking and locking of containers and enclosures/rooms.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Meet or exceed performance and productivity expectations through proven results
- Comply with all Miller Waste System and Provincial health and safety policies and procedures
- During some periods you will be required to assist with driving for residential collections

**Requirements**:

- Must adhere to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Clean drivers abstract and no preventable accidents in the past year
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Flexibility with your work schedule is necessary as start and end times may vary. Statutory Holidays and / or Saturdays will be required at times.
- Effective written and verbal communication is mandatory
- Excellent attendance and performance record
