Famer’s Pick is a family, locally owned and operated grocery store that has been serving the community for over 30 years. We provide a unique food shopping experience for our customers and an excellent work environment for our team. The atmosphere is like you’ve just walked into a grocery store in a small town where the owner knows his customers and team members by name. Cashier Team Members are the face of our store, and are responsible for processing customer orders. This individual must be personable and always ready and willing to provide customers with a very positive, memorable shopping experience, all while performing their required responsibilities and duties at a high level.

**Major Responsibilities**
- Provide a superior level of customer service with a friendly caring tone and smile
- Process all customer purchases, collect the accurate tenders and bag the purchased items.
- Handing special request from customers
- Keep the work, storage and store areas clean at all times
- Perform opening and closing procedures
- Must possess the ability to work well with others

**Qualifications**
- Must demonstrate excellence in friendly, professional customer service
- Good verbal communication skills are required as you will be dealing directly with customers
- You have a keen eye and good attention to detail
- Previous retail food experience would be a definite asset

**Availability**
- Monday to Sunday days

**Salary**
- $15.50 to $19.00 per hour depending on experience

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15-30 per week

**Salary**: $15.50-$19.50 per hour
