Vantage Marketing Lead

WhiteWater’s Marketing team is hiring for a Marketing Lead, Vantage to join them at our Richmond head office This position will be dedicated 100% to Vantage, our subsidiary in the US.
Vantage is a technology start up owned by WhiteWater which uses guest data to optimize the guest experience and operational efficiency and create new revenue opportunities for Water and Theme parks. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Marketing Lead is pivotal role within the Vantage team. You will work with the Vantage Leadership & Sales team to develop the marketing plan, implement the tactics and measure and adjust the marketing activities so that they enhance the company's brand & reputation, deliver sales results, and drive demand.
Currently, Vantage’s main channel to market is via the WhiteWater Sales team with products focused on the water park market. In time Vantage’s focus will expand to adjacent markets in the amusement and leisure vertical such as theme parks, cultural institutions, zoos, etc. The Marketing Lead drives the implementation of marketing tactics for the new verticals as they become part of the overall strategy.
This position requires a motivated self-sufficient problem solver who can collaborate well with multiple stakeholders, multi-task, and be willing to be creative and flexible in the tactics used to create brand awareness and leads. This means the job holder must be comfortable working across the marketing remit from crafting regular social posts, to sponsoring them and optimizing the SEO. The nature of this individual is analytical with a Performance Marketing bias; each activity needs to drive toward lead generation and testing to optimize the best use of the marketing resources to that aim.
**YOUR ROLE**:
Brand development and management
- Lead the evolution of Vantage's brand and market awareness by promoting the Vantage brand across multiple medians, social media, PR and advertising (print & digital)
- Track effectiveness of different media in terms of reach, CTR, conversion and ROI
- Ensure the brand positioning is consistent and engaging across the customer journey from the website to proposals
- Proposition testing and Competitive analysis - assess and optimize Vantage messaging
- Drive awareness engagement with the Vantage brand growing social followers lowers and engagement
Filling the sales pipeline and supporting the customer journey
- Understand both the client/business buyer and end-customer journey, current pain points, and which segments we see the best engagement and response to conversion.
- build, manage, and retire assets for all stages along the customer journey
- Develop and implement a digital lead generation strategy
- Develop the lead generation processes and lead nurture execution through the sales CRM.
- Support customer success, facilitating communications and sharing success stories and usage tips / resources.
Content development
- Interface with key stakeholders to ensure content captures readers' interest and is accurate while promoting the brand message.
- Oversee integrity of website content and ensure all waterpark content is updated and effective as necessary, including SEO.
- Lead creation of effective sales materials such as brochures, datasheets, presentations, and videos etc. _(With support from within the central Marketing team)_
- Create and submit award entries
Product marketing
- Lead the development of all product marketing materials as the technology and product/services evolve.

- Liaise with product manager on the development of product marketing plans (e.g., product maps & life stage management for appropriate marketing promotion)
Other
- Other responsibilities include helping deliver any joint Vantage/WhiteWater tactical activities they lead, such as design, tradeshows, website development or SEM.
- Reporting of metrics and sharing of learning and success monthly to assess the agility of the company to accelerate growth.
- As a small and growing business, the evolution of this role will happen quickly. There may be other duties as required.
**YOU BRING**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or related field
- 5 years marketing experience, including strategy, and digital marketing, 2 years of SaaS related marketing experience
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and strong attention to details
- Ability to use social media platforms and customer engagement technologies
- Experience with lead nurturing, drip marketing and marketing automation technology
- Passionate about delivering a superior customer experience
- Highly organized, with the ability to independently manage schedules and meet deadlines
- Ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external working relationships with all levels in the org
