Quality Control Auditor

**Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate employee and company quality issues with QA Team.
- Understand and monitor production processes to ensure they meet specified standards.
- Audit, test and measure materials or products being produced by the company.
- Audit, test and measure incoming materials or products being supplied to the company from external sources.
- Accept or reject items or product that does not meet specifications.
- Write assessments of accepted and rejected products after testing is complete.
- Pinpoint with accuracy issues in documentation and data quality through review.
- Read, analyze, and interpret existing data and documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Read and understand drawings and specification documents.
- Assist in the development of audit schedules and plans.
- Present final audit reports to management as needed.
- Perform quarterly third party certification inspections (Intertek).
- Respond to production “Yellow Alerts”; analyze and problem solve quality problems.
- Examine and recommend improvements to production procedures that do not consistently meet quality standards.
- Calibrating, inspecting and keeping records on auditing tools, such as calipers, scales, dielectric testers, flow meters and other testing equipment.
- Follow standard operating procedures as required, assist production staff with procedures as required.
- Participate and support Lean and 5S continuous improvement activities.
- Check Quarantine Board daily for required inspections on incoming goods
- Check the Production Calendars daily to trigger and monitor progress on production inspections and audits required
- Daily communication on production issues & special projects
- Respond to “Yellow Alerts” and assist with production issues
- Identify and back each other up during shortfalls in QC coverage
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
