**DUTIES**:

- Assign, co-ordinate and review projects and programs

- Managing program and project risks and opportunities for specific bundles and work packages following Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis.
- Defining and implementing a risk management framework (policy, strategy, plan), implementing a risk management process, and organizing risk management resources with leadership support across the participants in STC.
- Conducting Risk Assessment Workshops with the project teams and program partners (including Metrolinx).
- Leading and supporting the identification and definition of risks and opportunities, evaluating potential impacts, and developing effective risk mitigation measures to reduce potential cost and schedule impacts to the bundles and work packages.
- Managing the assessment, evaluation, prioritization, and updating of risks for all bundles and work packages.
- Monitoring and measuring the associated mitigation actions to avert the occurrence of risks.
- Directing and participating in regular risk reviews to identify, capture, and agree upon risks with the project teams and program partners (including Metrolinx).
- Directing and reviewing the cost of mitigation actions, both in the risk register and the work breakdown structure and evaluating risks to ensure accurate contingency reserves to support rigorous cost control.
- Preparing weekly, monthly, and annual reports for risk data analysis.
- Leading Risk Management Model (RM3) related activities, including audit coordination.
- Developing risk and compliance policies and ensuring effective policy implementation and compliance with safety requirements.
- Establishing regular and ad-hoc risk and compliance reporting processes.
- Ensuring reliable and effective collaboration with all stakeholders.
- Supporting the execution of inspections or audits by Contracting Authorities.
- Implementing reliable risk and compliance systems.
- Leading risk and compliance projects as required.

**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field - and Master Degree in Operations, Project & Supply Chain Management.
- 10+ years of experience as a Risk Manager or in a similar role, ideally in the rail industry or related fields.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.
- Respectful and appreciative interaction with all stakeholders and team members.
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work with a diverse workforce in intercultural environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
- English language written and spoken.

**Salary**: 205,000.00 Annually.
