The Financial Analyst role is key in providing reliable, timely and accurate financial information to assist the Finance team in the process of strategic decision making to deliver the business requirements, grow the business, and sustain our competitive advantage with consumers.

**What you'll do**:
**Financial Reporting/Analysis**:

- Improve and standardize management reporting processes within the legal entities.
- Drive continuous improvements/simplification to processes and internal controls
- A/P accounting management, including review / resolution for outstanding aged GR/IR, open PO’s and unpaid invoices
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for SAP related to OTC and GRC functions.
- Responsible to produce monthly A/R aging reporting, including finance approvals for unpaid aged invoices, customer credits/claims and outstanding deductions
- Review and process allowance for doubtful accounts monthly adjustments produced by the Credit team
- Monthly coordination / resolution for grant of authority and segregation of duties

**Financial compliance and Controls**:

- Drive continuous improvements/simplification to processes and internal controls
- Ensure IFRS and Group Accounting Policies are implemented and maintained (Revenue Recognition, IFRS16,etc.) into each entity.
- Validate monthly/quarterly reconciliation of several balance sheet accounts and ensure proper documentation and follow up of all accounts based on risk-based procedure (including tax, prepaid, sundry, Trade Accounts receivables/payables) and submit/review in Blackline
- Review and request Intercompany transactions, including legal entity back charges coding, processing, coordination and approvals
- Ensure that internal control issues are anticipated, and audit infractions are avoided by performing internal control reviews throughout the year, including year-end assessments.

**Other Controls/projects**:

- Support internal/external audit management actions ensuring all reporting units in your scope comply with the requirements.
- Prepare and coordinate external auditor review and monitor with the necessary escalation points to Controller and Finance Director. Review any deficiencies and identify and develop remediation plans
- Support and lead Global Financial Controls Framework
- UK SOX (GFCF) review, testing, preparation and submission. Ensure that internal control issues are anticipated, audit infraction avoided by performing reviews throughout the year.
- Review, coordination and resolution of grant of authority reviews and segregation of duties resolution.

**Tax and Treasury**:

- Cash/Bank activities including: Cash forecasting support to the Treasury team, miscellaneous bank activity resolution and bank reconciliation review/approvals
- Support the in-house tax team and external tax providers in relation to local tax compliance including transfer pricing reporting, and annual tax returns (computation and reporting)
- Support the computation and completion of quarterly provision and Deferred tax packages in collaboration with the tax team.

**How do you know you're a fit?**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or similar business certification.
- Preference to individuals completed or enrolled in an accounting designation program (i.e. CPA) or MBA.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in relevant Finance/Accounting position
- Experience working in a professional business environment and effectively developing and implementing new processes to achieve desired results.
- Excellent computer and system skills (SAP experience preferred)
