Sharp Trucking Services is a privately-owned transportation and logistics company operating in Western Canada. We are looking for a** Dispatcher **to join our Saskatoon operation.

The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating daily workflow for trucks, trailers, and drivers. This is a full-time position with flexibility to cover absences when required. We are searching for a forward thinker to join our team who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills to help grow Sharp Trucking Services through continuous improvement and innovation.
- Managing Fleet Resources according to availability and schedules
- Liaising with Maintenance on coordination and planning of equipment servicing
- Planning and scheduling for plant interruptions, outages, haul diversions, holidays, etc.
- Reviewing driver documents for accuracy and approving billable & payable hours
- Reviewing dispatch schedules and plant details daily and strategically re-evaluating plans to respond to changes
- Communicating with customers and drivers to ensure optimal operations and customer satisfaction
- Other duties as required by Operations

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in bulk dispatch, operations, logistics, or scheduling
- Experience in Tanker and Industrial is an asset.
- Post-secondary education; a certificate or diploma in Logistics or Supply Management an asset
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and computer skills; experience with Axon or a similar dispatch system is an asset
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem resolution skills
- Ability to work with a dynamic team, in a dynamic industry
- High level of attention to detail, with impeccable organizational abilities
- Process-driven individual, who excels at executing tasks from conception through to completion
- Professional, prompt communication skills with both internal and external “customers”
- A motivated individual with an uncompromising commitment to safety
