Total Healthcare Solutions (THCS) is seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant to provide intervention to clients in their home and in the community in the Greater Toronto Area. The rehabilitation assistant is responsible for carrying out intervention and tasks assigned by the therapist(s) (OT/PT) in order to support the client’s rehabilitation goals.
- Rehabilitation experience.
- Valid driver’s license, have access to a reliable vehicle and willing to travel locally during the session.
- Graduate of a PTA/OTA recognized community college program or its equivalent in the area of rehabilitation or health sciences is an asset.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations, including persons with physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities is an asset.
- Experience with brain injury and cognitive intervention is an asset.
- Excellent time management skills, self-direction and ability to work well independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team

**Responsibilities include**:

- Regular completion of progress notes
- Provide OT/PT carryover treatment in the home and community environments
- Assist clients to meet rehabilitation goals, as assigned by the team therapist(s)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

**Salary**: $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- rehabilitation: 3 years (preferred)
