**Purpose**:
To ensure the efficient operation of CNC machines, maximizing production output while maintaining high-quality standards. The operator is responsible for loading materials, monitoring machining, conducting inspections, and making minor adjustments to keep production running smoothly with mínimal downtime.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate **DMG NLX and Tornos Swiss CNC machines** according to setup instructions.
- Prepare raw material per planner instructions, including cutting material using a saw.
- Load raw material into the bar feeder and monitor the machining process for consistency.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, ensuring required tolerances are maintained.
- Conduct **in-process inspections** using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauge pins, optical comparator).
- Make **minor machine adjustments**, such as tool offsets and replacing worn/broken inserts.
- Accurately enter inspection and workflow data into **ERP** for tracking and documentation.
- Log working hours and time tracking for work orders in ERP.
- Assist with **deburring, cleaning, packaging, and labeling** finished parts.
- Maintain proper lubrication and coolant levels, performing basic maintenance as needed.
- Ensure quality standards and production efficiency meet company targets.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Previous experience operating CNC machines in a **precision machining environment** (preferred but not required).
- Ability to read and interpret **engineering drawings and GD&T**.
- Familiarity with **CNC machine tools and offsets** is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to conduct accurate measurements.
- Basic troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a **fast-paced environment**.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
