Mississauga, Canada Aerial Industries Inc. Full time

This is a full time, permanent position for the morning shift with a small & fast paced machine shop near Pearson Airport. Aerial Industries has been in business for over 20 years, completing work primarily for the Defence, Oil and Gas and Aerospace industries. We are constantly expanding our workforce and are looking for a CNC Machinist who is capable of completing their own set-ups and operating lathes in a production environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret drawings
- Set-up and Operate CNC lathes
- Set up jaws, tooling, inserts etc and take off-sets appropriately
- Calculate proper operating conditions (speeds/feeds) and tooling for the job
- Ensure that machined parts conform to specifications
- Help to maintain machines and work areas as required

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years work experience setting up and operating CNC lathes. Milling experience is an asset but not required.
- Read blueprints to interpret machining operations, dimensions and tolerances and set-up requirements
- Must be proficient with micrometers, calipers, depth and height gauges, and other measuring tools;

- Competitive hourly rate based on experience. Includes health benefits plan
