**Job Summary**

**A Brief Overview**

Reporting to the Director, Information Technology, Queen's Health Sciences, and taking work direction from the Team Lead and Senior System Analyst of Infrastructure Services, the IT Systems Analyst is responsible for delivering all aspects of our technology lifecycle, including procurement, configuration and installation, support and maintenance, and asset decommissioning. This will include, but is not limited to cyber security initiatives, desktop computers and servers, data network connectivity, asset management, and Crestron/Extron automation systems.

The incumbent will be a key member of the Infrastructure Services team that ensures an exceptional standard of service and quality of information technology systems within Queen's Health Sciences.

**What you will do**
- Completes work from ticket workflow including new staff setups, access requests, hardware requests and/or training setups.
- Troubleshoots problems with software, hardware, installation and upgrades.
- Configures systems and security on software to protect data by encryption and domain password security.
- Maintains documentation on installation and configuration specifications.
- Supports users through technical knowledge to ensure proper use of software and hardware.
- Oversees technology reservation system, which includes delivery and pickup of equipment to and from classrooms.
- Provides electronic medical record support and troubleshooting.
- Assists with training new users.
- This position performs queries, produces reports and checks for data and system integrity.
- Other duties as required in support of the department and/or unit.

**Required Education**
- Three-year Community College Diploma or Three-Year Bachelor Degree, or equivalent. In addition, requires trade certification, qualification, or on-going learning to remain ahead of changes in technology or emerging fields.

**Required Experience**
- More than 2 years and up to and including 3 years of experience.

Consideration may be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience.
