We’re seeking a **Social Media Growth Coordinator** to amplify our digital footprint and engage broader audiences online.

**Position Summary**

As the **Volunteer Social Media Growth Coordinator**, you will craft and implement strategies to boost follower counts, increase engagement, and foster community across our social channels (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter). You’ll collaborate with the marketing team to execute content plans that showcase the festival’s diverse programming and community spirit.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Growth Strategy & Implementation**:

- Develop and deploy social media strategies aimed at increasing followers and boosting engagement rates.
- Identify new platforms, tools, or trends that could be leveraged for event promotion.
- **Content Planning & Creation**:

- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and content creators to gather material for social media posts.
- Craft compelling captions, calls-to-action, and hashtags aligned with the festival’s multicultural theme.
- **Community Management**:

- Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely, courteous manner.
- Engage with relevant online communities, cultural groups, and influencers to drive festival awareness.
- **Analytics & Reporting**:

- Track and analyze key performance metrics (followers, likes, shares, comments, reach).
- Provide regular updates to the event committee, adjusting tactics based on insights and trends.
- **Collaboration & Coordination**:

- Work closely with the broader marketing team, Influencer Marketing Coordinator, and other volunteers.
- Ensure cohesive messaging across all digital platforms, maintaining brand consistency and promoting festival events.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- **Social Media Expertise**: Proven track record or strong understanding of growing online communities (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, etc.).
- **Communication Skills**: Ability to craft engaging content and effectively interact with the public.
- **Analytical Mindset**: Familiarity with metrics and reporting tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics).
- **Creativity**: Skilled at brainstorming and executing innovative ideas for campaigns or viral content.
- **Team Player**: Comfortable collaborating with marketing, logistics, and production teams.
- **Cultural Appreciation**: Passion for diversity, inclusivity, and community-driven events.
