**The Opportunity**

Pioneer Solar & Renewables is growing and we are looking for a _Renewable Energy Sales Representative_. The renewable energy market is in a period of rapid growth, and a sales career in the industry could be pivotal at this moment and time to accelerate the transition of the green economy If you are looking for a sales position with a renewable energy company and are both passionate/excited about the environment and helping the people in our communities, the team at Pioneer Solar would like to meet you

**About You**

The _Renewable Energy Sales Representative_ will be responsible for managing the sales lifecycle; including lead qualification, determining client needs, conducting site assessments, quotations, pricing, contracts and negotiations.

**Key Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Scheduling consultations, educating clients on renewable energy solutions, reviewing product/service needs, and guiding customers through the renewable energy sales process.
- Building trust and rapport with prospective customers. Maintaining both B2B and B2C engagements, and directly overseeing agreements with building, company, and officer owners.
- Providing excellent post-sale handoffs to the project management team to ensure seamless implementation.
- Liaising between customers and the company for up-to-date status of service, pricing and new product release launches.
- Attending networking functions to expand Pioneer Solar's presence within identified markets.
- Maintaining CRM records and other digital records as required.
- Preparing reports for marketing and sales and tracking expense accounts.
- Assisting with e-commerce inventory, product management and order processing logistics (as needed).

**Qualifications**
- Required:_
- 1- 2 years minimum prior sales experience, preferably in a related industry i.e., construction, engineering, or renewable energy industry.
- High School Diploma.
- An eagerness to work in the renewable energy industry.
- A growth mind-set with a willingness to learn.
- Nice to have:_
- A Bachelor's Degree or working towards completing a post-secondary program (Sales, Marketing, or related field is preferred).
- A background in solar or working with renewable energy products/services is an asset (product knowledge or industry experience is preferred).
- A proven track record of closing high-ticket deals is an asset.

**Skills**
- Strong business acumen and professional approach to offering effective services and solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
- The ability to work with CRM software and Google Products.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
