**The Opportunity**
We are currently hiring experienced Class 1 Highway Drivers for our Okanagan run, covering routes throughout Interior BC. This position offers a 3-day work week, with the potential for 4 days, depending on workload.
**Please note**: being home every night is not guaranteed.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Safely operate a Class 1 tractor-trailer on highway routes within Interior BC.
- Perform scheduled deliveries on the Okanagan run while meeting company and customer expectations.
- Conduct pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Handle manual labour duties, including lifting and cargo handling (up to 70-75 lbs).

**Requirements**:

- Valid Class 1 driver’s license.
- 3-5 years of verifiable Canadian highway driving experience, with a strong preference for BC mountain and winter driving experience.
- Must be able to operate both manual and automatic transmissions.
- Experience with ELDs and a solid understanding of federal Hours of Service regulations.
- Clean driver's abstract (maximum 4 demerit points), no impaired driving charges in the past 5 years.
- Must be fluent in English (both spoken and written).
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented.
- Able and willing to perform physical labour as required.
