The Rental Building Manageris responsible for rent collections, supervision of contractors, communicating with the Property Manager on operational issues, showing and renting apartments, coordinating move-ins and move-outs, and maintaining positive relationships with the tenants.

**Responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to**:

- Ability to sell rental units with a strong level of customer service
- The building is under construction. Weekends will be required for the lease-up process.
- Dealing with tenants and building issues, attending to all building related emergencies, meeting trades and other service providers to allow access to the building, showing suites, and dealing with any other issues that may arise.
- Schedule and supervise move in and outs of the building as per the Rules & Regulations
- Maintain clean common building areas and clean suites for turnovers.
- Prepare Incident Reports related to accidents, altercations and damage to the property and/or other applicable incidents
- Prepare Rental and Manager Reports
- Reporting to the Building Manager on a regular basis regarding any arising tenant issues and building maintenance requirements
- Other duties as required from time to time

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Ideally two to three years relevant experience
- Working knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act
- Motivated and professional with a service-oriented mindset
- Excellent communicator; both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to handle conflict tactfully
- Computer literate; knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel
- Understanding of building operating systems
- Organized and detail oriented
- Reliable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Port Coquitlam, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
