Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Manager Assistant specializing in Building Envelope and Construction projects. This role provides vital support to project managers by assisting with project coordination, scheduling, and documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in construction management software, project scheduling, and site experience, contributing to the successful delivery of complex construction projects. Responsibilities

  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and HeavyBid
  • Support project managers in preparing and reviewing blueprints, schematics, and contracts
  • Help manage project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, and submittals
  • Coordinate with field teams to ensure adherence to project timelines and specifications
  • Track project progress and update schedules regularly to reflect current status
  • Assist with cost estimating and procurement processes utilizing Construction estimating tools
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers
  • Support site visits to gather data, monitor safety compliance, and verify work quality
  • Contribute to project meetings by preparing agendas and documenting action items

Experience

  • Prior experience or familiarity with construction site operations and project management is preferred
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, or similar tools is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction contracts is essential
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, construction estimating, and site safety protocols
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience working on building envelope or civil construction projects is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage documentation efficiently

This role is integral to ensuring smooth project execution from inception through completion. Candidates should be proactive team players with a passion for construction management and a commitment to quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
