**PLANNING SUPERVISOR**

***:
The Planning Supervisor is responsible for leading the Materials Planning team while overseeing the planning processes in support of corporate strategies and objectives to achieve departmental and organizational goals. They provide leadership and direction to ensure optimal customer satisfaction is balanced with financial responsibility.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Ensure policies and processes are maintained and followed to ensure goals and objectives for all regulatory and legal requirements are met with respect to Health, Safety & Environmental programs.
- Maintain a respectful and professional work environment with a focus on making Carfair a great place to work.
- Provide leadership and direction to the group through effective communication and coaching, as well as progressive discipline as required.
- Manage all schedule changes and adjustments within the planning team.
- Work to ensure cross training is achieved within planning and administrative team.
- Directs and assigns work to material team and ensures employees have the training and skills to perform tasks.
- Directs department activities and ensures daily schedules are carried out in accordance with customer requirement.
- Work closely with other departments and leadership to ensure optimal organizational performance and best value to the customer.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards. Monitor and ensure budget compliance and provide updates on department budget status to management.
- Supervising your team in key areas such as: holiday schedules, sick time, vacation, planned overtime, if required.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- A minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Prior experience in composites, fibreglass or similar industry would be an asset.
- Knowledge of Oracle would be beneficial.
- Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook).
- Strong problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Knowledge of 5S principles would be an asset.
