Regina, Canada JMAC Plumbing & Heating Inc. Full time

Responsibilities:

- Install, repair, and maintain sheet metal components and systems in accordance with blueprints, specifications, and building codes.
- Measure and mark sheet metal for cutting and shaping.
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Install ductwork for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Inspect and troubleshoot sheet metal systems to identify issues and make necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and plumbers, to complete projects.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.

**Skills**:

- Proficient in carpentry skills for framing and installing sheet metal components.
- Knowledge of plumbing principles for connecting sheet metal pipes and fittings.
- Familiarity with a variety of hand tools used in sheet metal work, such as snips, hammers, and drills.
- Experience with drywall installation to properly integrate sheet metal components into walls and ceilings.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine project requirements.
- Skilled in tile laying for projects that involve integrating sheet metal components with tile surfaces.
- Knowledge of caulking techniques to ensure proper sealing of sheet metal joints.
- Welding skills to join sheet metal pieces together when necessary.
- Strong building skills to construct structures using sheet metal materials.

Pay: $17.00-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
