We are currently largely operating on a work-from-home basis with controlled access to our office to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our province. New hires may be expected to work from home but should expect to have an in-office component as well.

- University or equivalent degree in a technology or business field; or related professional experience
- Solution Selling Experience: Demonstrated experience of at least 3-5 years selling technology solutions to senior business and IT decision-makers by reinforcing the value of the technology to the customer’s overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities.
- Sales Excellence: Demonstrated strategic business management. Effectively manages sales pipeline (generation and velocity), forecast with predictable results that exceed revenue and Usage/consumption targets, and the ability to formulate a strategy from market indicators and organizational objectives.
- Know and Clearly Communicate SolutionInc’s mission and guiding principles.
- Hardware Vendors: manage day-to-day activities with various hardware vendors.
- Know Performance Metrics: Current performance vs Budget, net sales, net margin. Must be familiar with company's products and procedures.
- Outbound Calling: generate revenue by promoting sales of new and existing products to potential customers and targets.
- Website and Marketing Campaign Leads: Initiate sales calls to potential customers to assess their needs for future services.
- Account Management: Initiate sales calls to existing customers to assess their needs
for future services. Conduct monthly reviews with customers discussing new products and services.
- Pipeline Management: Builds, monitors and orchestrates sales pipeline.
- Deal Management: Critically assesses deals to ensure problem-free processing.
- Business Acumen: Exhibits authoritative business, financial and technical acumen. Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.
- Strategic Sales Planning: Development of strategic sales plans to advance market share/ penetration, and achieve profitable growth.
- Competitive Positioning/Strategy: Uses competitive intelligence in account planning and sales activities to develop counter-strategies that will neutralize competitive influence on the customer’s buying decisions.
- Industry and Client Knowledge: Stays current with industry and competitive research.
- Results-Oriented: Results including success in achieving progressively higher quota or other sales-related goals.
- Technical Background: A technically astute sales background, with solution selling experience.
- Communication: Superior communication, administration, and organization skills. Must
be able to work in cooperation with others. Must be a team play. Be able to convey product information and availability to customers.
**Duties May Include**:
- Building rapport with customers
- Collecting customer information and then following up
- Upselling services and making product recommendations - Closing sales and achieving quotas
- Identifying sales opportunities
- Staying informed about products and services
- Managing hardware vendor requirements - Review of RFP sites for applicable RFP’s
- Helping with responses to RFP’s
