**Something Special** is a food manufacturer located in Sherwood Park. We ship our antipasto and pepper jellies to grocers across Canada and the United States.

We are currently seeking reliable, enthusiastic team players as **Food** **Production Line Workers **to add to our team. These individuals must possess a **strong work ethic, determination** and a **positive attitude. **We have openings in our commercial kitchen on both shifts.

**Job requirements**:

- Reliability and dependability
- Fit for a physical, labor-intensive position
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 40 lbs throughout the day
- Position requires standing for long periods and repetitive work
- Adherence to all quality, food safety and health and safety procedures is a must
- Able to read, write and speak fluent English
- Attention to detail when completing records
- Food Safe certification and/or experience in food manufacturing/food handling is considered an asset; however, we train on site
- Flexibility and willingness to work in all positions, as needed, to keep production moving.

**Job Duties (will vary)**:

- Food preparation (chopping, measuring, and cooking)
- Operating and adjusting equipment
- Keeping the lines running at an efficient speed
- Visual inspection of product for quality
- Cleaning of all equipment regularly and as required at end of shift
- Maintaining a clean work area and production floor
- Maintaining accurate records

This position is vital to our operations and provides long-term employment and growth opportunities.

**Two Shifts**:
We currently are working a **10-hour, four-day work week, Monday to Thursday.**

Day shift runs from 6:00am - 4:00 pm

Afternoon shift runs from 10 am - 8 pm currently, but this may change to noon to 10 pm.

**Something Special** offers entry-level wages, a year-end bonus, and an employee medical/dental plan (after 6 months).
