Role Overview
The Wide Format Print Operator, reporting to the Signage Manager, is responsible for producing high quality print products utilizing high-speed digital production printers. The Wide Format Print Operator will work with the Production Manager to prioritize work requests and ensure that projects are completed on time.
Previous experience in the print industry is considered an asset but is not a requirement. We are seeking hard-working seasonal employees with the drive and willingness to learn.

Contract Length: 8 - 12 weeks (with the possibility of extension)

Available Shifts: Day Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM), Afternoon shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM), Night shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensure production work in the area is conducted in a way that utilizes the right materials to produce a high-quality result
- Continually monitor print quality by reviewing work as it is printed and immediately raise quality issues to the attention of senior operators
- Maintain a sense of urgency and respect for customer orders along with a desire to meet requested turnaround times by proactively managing time sensitive projects
- Perform finishing including trimming, weeding, lamination, and quality check before the final product is packaged
- Maintain inter
- and intra-departmental communication throughout the production process
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to effectively multi-task and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Flexibility and willingness to accept various assignments within the signage environment (e.g., running different jobs, learning to utilize new equipment)
- Solid understanding of computers and office equipment
- Strong understanding and working knowledge in the current version of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- Written and verbal fluency in English
