Surplus Furniture and Mattress Warehouse is looking for a **Retail Recruiter** to join our growing team in Barrie Ontario.

Now, with 33 retail locations across Canada and more on the way, Surplus Furniture and Mattress Warehouse is looking to add a motivated and forward-thinking **Recruiter** to its growing team in Barrie Ontario.
- **Required Skills**_
- Ability to source and find a high level of talent for positions across the country.
- Ability to utilize/incorporate multiple social channels/tools, job boards and professional network to access the best talent possible while embracing traditional headhunting strategies and think outside the box
- Knowledge of up-to-date recruitment trends and best practices.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Manage the entire recruitment process, including posting job ads, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and extending job offers
Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities to management.
- A solid foundation and understanding of what it takes to be successful in a Sales role with sales targets.

A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills and possess a strong work ethic
- Respectful of confidentiality and privacy; exercise tact and discretion
- Degree in Human Resources is an asset
- **Responsibilities**_
- Developing and implementing active recruitment strategies for vacant positions
- Identify, screen, recruit, and interview talent to ensure a match of qualifications and requirements.
- Develop and execute a robust recruiting process to ensure top talent is attracted and retained.
- Prepare offer letters, contracts, and other onboarding documentation.
- Identify gaps in processes and policies and work in conjunction with upper management to address deficiencies.

Help the HR Director with administration etc.
- Track training progress of new hires.

**This is an in-office role in Barrie, Ontario**

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
