The Vintage Conservatory is a private wine storage facility and social club. Members enjoy their own private locker in our state-of-the-art climate controlled cellar, beautiful fully appointed private rooms and lounge.
We are on the hunt for an **experienced line cook** who is eager to learn and improve their skill set. In this position, your principal goal will be to prepare high-quality meals that meet the chef’s exact specifications and deliver above and beyond the member's expectation.
Requirements & Duties:
- Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen is set up and stocked.
- Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
- Keep pace with other cooks on the line so that all food is ready for each plate at the same time.
- Plate food in an attractive manner to maximize customer enjoyment.
- Report to the head chef and follow instructions.
- Make sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
- Clean prep areas and take care of leftovers.
- Stock inventory and supplies.
- Committed to quality and detail-oriented dishes.
- Elevated or fine dining experience is an asset.
*Wage based on experience
**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:

**Experience**:
- Cooking: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
