**Minimum Requirements for this role**:

- Must possess a valid G class driver’s license.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the landscape industry
- Fluency in English, oral and written communication
- Personal mobile device with data plan for communication, time and project tracking.
- Ability to work on call 24/7 during winter months for snow shovelling

**Key Responsibilities**

**Grounds Maintenance**
- Mow lawns, trim edges, and blow debris from hard surfaces.
- Weed, mulch, edge, and cultivate garden beds.
- Prune shrubs, hedges, and small trees as directed.
- Rake and dispose of leaves and yard waste.

**Equipment Operation & Care**
- Fuel equipment like trimmers, mowers, check oil.
- Safely operate hand tools and power equipment (e.g., trimmers, blowers, mowers).
- Report equipment malfunctions.

**Site Cleanliness & Safety**
- Maintain a tidy and hazard-free job site.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Load/unload tools, equipment, and materials at the beginning and end of each workday.
- Assist with planting, sod laying, and soil preparation as needed.
- Support installation crews during off-peak maintenance periods.

**Leadership**
- This may turn into a leadership role where you will manage a crew of 1 to possibly 2 people.

**Qualifications**
- Full G license
- Prior experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or general outdoor labour preferred.
- Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods.
- Familiarity with lawn care equipment and tools is an asset.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow instructions.

**Work Conditions**
- Outdoor work in varying weather (heat, rain, cold).
- Early morning 7am starts to 5pm finish
- 10-hour work days Monday to Friday

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
