The Overnight Houseperson plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and readiness of guest areas, meeting rooms, and back-of-house spaces during overnight hours. This position supports the housekeeping team by ensuring all public spaces are clean, well-stocked, and presentable, and by responding promptly to guest and team member requests.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assist room attendants with heavy items such as mattresses and linens.
- Deliver linens and other supplies to room attendants.
- Remove all dirty linen from assigned Room Attendants’ carts and closets and transport to laundry area.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets and vending areas; remove trash, wipe down shelves/counters; sweep and wax floor, remove non-floor closet items and store in appropriate areas.
- Respond to guests’ requests such as delivery of housekeeping supplies (e.g. linens, cots, etc.) in a timely and efficient manner.
- Clean other designated areas such as public restrooms, Guest rooms, fixtures, vending areas, storage areas, and other public areas for assigned floors.
- Report to supervisor needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
- Respond to guest complaints and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and control supplies and amenities, and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
- May collect paper and other items for recycling.
- May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
- Assist with all retable housekeeping tasks

**General**
- Previous housekeeping experience is an asset but not required.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning materials and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs unassisted and heavier items with assistance.
- Comfortable pushing and pulling loaded housekeeping carts over various surfaces.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and twist for extended periods.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to handle objects of varying sizes.
- Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
