Position Available: Copywriter

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia

Role Overview: Rove is seeking for a highly creative and talented Copywriter to join our Brand Marketing team. As a key member of our creative team, you'll play an integral role in shaping the voice of Rove Concepts through engaging, and thought-provoking scripts and copy across various platforms. Your expertise in storytelling will be instrumental in driving consumer engagement and creating impactful connections with our brand. When confronted with something new or unfamiliar, you seize the opportunity to learn and expand your skillset. You’re self-starting, able to create top-quality work under pressure, and motivated by a desire to help your team produce exceptional results.

What You’ll Do:

- Maintain consistency in tone, style, and messaging by ensuring all content aligns with Rove's brand voice and positioning.
- Provide insights on audience behavior, market trends, and best practices. Conduct A/B tests to understand various customer segments, tailoring messaging to resonate with different audiences and maximize impact.
- Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment on several campaigns at once. Also be able and comfortable working independently on vast lists of deliverables.
- Reporting on content-related KPIs, using qualitative and quantitative research to inform your content decisions, and adjusting plans according to past performance;
- Collaborate with the marketing team to produce high-quality content that reflects our brand voice and resonates with our target audience.
- Learn and incorporate the use of ChatGPT and other AI tools to enhance content creation and efficiency.
- Conduct research to understand industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform content development.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for content and campaigns.
- Stay informed about best practices in copywriting and digital marketing to continuously improve skills and output.

What You’ll Need:

- 5+ years of copywriting experience, with a strong background in brand campaigns, events, and agency or in-house roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience using AI writing tools or a strong interest in AI technology.
- Portfolio showcasing a variety of writing samples, including digital content.
- Proven experience in copywriting, creative writing, journalism, or a related field.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to create compelling, clear, and persuasive content.
- Willingness to learn and use AI tools like ChatGPT to enhance writing and productivity.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and best practices is a plus.
