Ohana Care Health Services is looking for HCA Community Companions with a minimum of 1-year experience, and a passion for providing young adults with disabilities with outstanding care. The most important part of our work is to make our clients feel they're cared for, and to develop a strong rapport with them.

**Job Requirements**
- 1-2 years' experience working with young adults with disabilities
- Own transportation with 2 million liability insurance
- Valid Criminal Record Police Information Check or ability to obtain one
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR/AED (Level C)
- Proof of vaccinations
- HCA Certification and/or Registered with the HCA Directory
- Provides socialization, conversation, and emotion reassurance to the client.
- Encourages and participates in reading, games, and other activities to promote well-being and stimulate the mind and the spirit
- Community engagement through social outings, transportation to appointments and more.
- Listens, observes, and communicates any concerns/changes in the client’s physical and/or emotional condition immediately to Ohana Care supervisor
- Regularly assesses the Client’s surroundings to ensure that clients have a safe home environment (i.e., recognize fall risks) and reports concerns to the Ohana Care Supervisor.
- Assists and/or provides general exercises/activities to maintain mobility and independence as directed by the client, or the Ohana Care supervisor at the request of the family.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
