**AS OUR** **CONTROL PANEL ESTIMATOR, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO**:

- Create, prepare and coordinate the preparation of full cost estimates for electrical panels.
- Prepare materials, labour and equipment cost estimations necessary to successfully carry out the project according to proposals, plans, estimates and specifications.
- Manage and control change orders.
- Prepare quotes for materials for project estimates.
- Generate project budgets and assist with change orders.
- Review specifications and design drawings to determine the total scope of work to be performed, material requirements and associated costs to be included in the final price.
- Examine and analyze estimate packages to ensure accuracy and completeness of work pricing.
- Preparing bid packages, conceptual estimates and analysis of potential sub-contractor bids for projects.
- Determine cost recovery strategies.
- Maintain files of working documents to be used as backups for estimate figures as well as maintain current and accurate information on supplier prices, price lists, unit prices and quantity estimates.
- Collaborate with other estimators, project managers and procurement to determine costs related to RFI’s and extra work orders.
- Participate in project kickoff and project closeout meetings.
- Assist in the preparation of studies, materials and methods, recommendations, and cost estimates as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**:

- 5 years of experience in cost estimation and familiarity with bidding processes
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and Microsoft Project
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints
- Ability to think critically and use inductive reasoning
- An understanding of controls, automation and manufacturing
- Excellent organization, communication and time management skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work well with other people
- Collaborative in dealing with customers and fellow employees
