We are seeking a passionate and skilled **Line Cook** to join our steakhouse culinary team. **Responsibilities**:
- Prepare, cook, and present steakhouse menu items to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Execute precise cooking techniques for various premium cuts of meat, seafood, and accompaniments.
- Set up and maintain organized, fully stocked workstations with all required ingredients and tools.
- Ensure accurate grill temperatures, doneness levels, and consistent seasoning across dishes.
- Follow recipe standards and plating guides to ensure uniformity and excellence.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
- Inspect and ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients before use.
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Support and train junior cooks within the section as required.
- Assist the culinary team with prep work and service as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a First Cook or Line Cook in a fine dining or steakhouse environment.
- Strong experience with **charcoal, wood, or open-flame grilling** (an asset).
- Deep understanding of meat cuts, temperatures, and flavor development.
- Ability to take direction and work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanour at all times.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Fluent in English or French (bilingualism an asset).
- Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and other shifts as required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

**Responsabilités**:
- Préparer, cuire et présenter les plats du menu du steakhouse selon les plus hauts standards de qualité et de présentation.
- Maîtriser les techniques de cuisson sur charbon, bois ou flamme directe pour les viandes et fruits de mer.
- Mettre en place et maintenir des postes de travail organisés et bien approvisionnés.
- Assurer la précision des températures de cuisson et des assaisonnements pour chaque coupe de viande.
- Suivre les recettes, les standards et les directives de présentation pour garantir la constance.
- Maintenir la propreté et l’hygiène des postes de travail et des équipements.
- Vérifier la fraîcheur et la qualité des ingrédients avant utilisation.
- Respecter les normes de santé, de sécurité et d’hygiène alimentaire en tout temps.
