Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to prepare and present high-quality dishes. You'll be responsible for ensuring that every plate leaving our kitchen meets the highest standards of taste and presentation.

Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to the recipe book and picturesSet up workstations with all the needed ingredients and cooking equipmentPrepare ingredients for cooking, such as chopping and peeling vegetables and cutting meatEnsure a great presentation by dressing dishes before they are servedKeep the kitchen clean and organized, following sanitation, food safety, hygiene, and other health and safety guidelinesCheck the quality of ingredientsTrain any second cook within the sectionOther duties or responsibilities as assigned or required

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in a similar positionAbility to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressureAble to spend 100% of the time standingMust be fluent in English or French and 18 years or olderExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsPositive and collaborative team player attitudeFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, overnight hours, and holidaysMust have a valid Canadian working visa

Nous recherchons un Cuisinier compétent et passionné pour préparer et présenter des plats de haute qualité. Vous serez responsable de vous assurer que chaque assiette qui quitte notre cuisine respecte les normes les plus élevées en matière de goût et de présentation.

Responsabilités:

Préparer, cuisiner et présenter des plats de haute qualité selon le livre de recettes et les photos.Préparer les postes de travail avec tous les ingrédients et le matériel de cuisine nécessaires.Préparer les ingrédients pour la cuisson, comme hacher et éplucher les légumes et couper la viande.Assurer une bonne présentation en dressant les plats avant qu'ils ne soient servis.Maintenir la cuisine propre et organisée, en respectant les règles d'hygiène, de sécurité alimentaire, de santé et de sécurité.vérifier la qualité des ingrédientsFormer tout second cuisinier au sein de la section.Effectuer d'autres tâches ou assumer d'autres responsabilités, selon les besoins.

Exigences:

2 ans d'expérience ou plus dans un poste similaireCapacité à recevoir des instructions et à travailler calmement et efficacement sous pression.Capable de passer 100 % du temps deboutParler couramment l'anglais ou le français et être âgé de 18 ans ou plus.Excellentes aptitudes à la communication, aux relations interpersonnelles et à l'organisation.Attitude positive et esprit d'équipeFlexibilité pour travailler sur différents quarts de travail, y compris les week-ends, les soirées, les heures de nuit et les jours fériés.Doit avoir un visa de travail canadien valide
