Summary:
We are a reputable cleaning company operating in Ottawa/Gatineau, Canada, seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaners to join our team. As a cleaner, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of cleaning duties at various commercial, residential, and industrial locations throughout Ottawa.

**Responsibilities**:

- Carry out cleaning tasks as assigned, ensuring high-quality and efficient service delivery.
- Clean and sanitize designated areas, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, windows, and other fixtures.
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the premises.
- Handle and dispose of waste, adhering to proper recycling and waste management guidelines.
- Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to achieve desired results while following safety protocols.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations during cleaning operations.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold excellent customer service standards at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, taking direction from supervisors and communicating effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy objects when necessary.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Flexibility to work varying hours and adjust to changing schedules as needed.
- A valid driver's license is desirable but not mandatory as job sites are within Ottawa/Gatineau.

Note: Please be aware that this is contract work, with the potential of full-time and part-time. Despite the variance in working hours, we offer a competitive pay rate of $17 - 25 per hour.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ottawa, ON/Gatineau, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
