**The role**:
We are adding a Shipper/Receiver to our team in Edmonton. You will drive warehouse efficiency and process improvement and collaborate with colleagues in all departments. As the Shipper/Receiver, you will play a key role in ensuring continued flow of business through the location. This is a full-time position, working a regular Monday to Friday schedule alongside a strong team of Sales Reps, Service Technicians, and Administrators.

**How you will spend your days**:

- ** Shipping and Receiving Inventory. **Every mobility device we process is custom to our clients. As a result, we rely on our shipper/receivers to play an integral role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Working with our shipping software, Navision, you will be responsible for shipping and receiving of goods and mobility equipment. This will include creating shipping orders and labels, packing custom orders, pulling inventory from shelves, cross docking of orders from other locations, ensuring courier pick up, receiving goods from suppliers or vendors and making certain the delivery was correct and undamaged.
- ** Maintain Inventory of Mobility Devices and Equipment. **You will act as the gatekeeper for all our inventory and physical assets stored in the warehouse, ensuring proper storage and packing as it enters or exits the dock. Using our pump trucks and flatbeds you will store, organize and manage our inventory. You will tag, price, store and organize all mobility devices, parts and tools within the warehouse. This may require assisting to build or clean mobility devices such as wheelchairs, elevating equipment and power scooters.
- ** Communicate.** Work with internal and external teams to ensure all inventory and shipments are correct and to make sure all shipping and receiving is coordinated.

**What you bring to the role**:

- ** Experience.** You have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in an inventory handling or a general warehouse role. You are comfortable using computers, can learn new systems and databases, and have a moderate understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
- ** Communication skills. **You can clearly and concisely communicate in person, over the phone or on paper. You can provide outstanding customer service to any visitors or vendors who may be entering the warehouse.
