**Duties**
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies that support the company's short-term and long-term goals.
- Oversee all accounting functions, including account reconciliation, financial reporting, credit, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead budgeting processes, monitor financial performance, and provide actionable insights to executive leadership.
- Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies to safeguard company assets and ensure financial stability.
- Experience with both retail and wholesale operations.
- Negotiate services contracts, financing arrangements, and other key agreements to optimize financial outcomes.
- Oversee corporate finance activities such as capital structure management, investment analysis, and funding strategies.
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with operational plans.
- Ensure adherence to legal standards and internal policies related to financial practices.
- Support M&A activity as required.
**Skills**
- Strong background in accounting principles and practices, including account reconciliation.
- Exceptional Excel financial modelling capabilities.
- Extensive experience in corporate finance, budgeting, and risk management.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to work collaboratively with senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and strategic thinking.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Familiarity with various technology and ERP systems including Microsoft platforms.
