**Key Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to fabricate metal enclosures and equipment packaging solutions.
- Operate and maintain various welding equipment, plasma cutters, and grinders.
- Work with a variety of metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel but primarily carbon steel
- Measure and cut metal using saws, shears, and other cutting tools.
- Use hand and power tools to shape and form metal as needed.
- Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet client specifications and safety standards.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress, identify potential issues, and brainstorm solutions.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Metal Fabrication Apprentice
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with various metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
- Ability to use hand and power tools to shape and form metal.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Highschool diploma or completed courses in metalworking or welding is an asset
- Reliable and punctual is a must

**Working Conditions**:
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be working in a fabrication shop that may be noisy and dusty, warm or cold at times. You will also be required to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds. The work schedule may vary depending on project deadlines, and occasional overtime may be required.

**Compensation** will be commensurate with the successful applicant’s strengths and experience as measured by the above description.

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
