The Account Payables Clerk will be based at our Toronto Office.
Under the supervision of the Controller, the Account Payables Clerk main responsibility will be to support the controller in the day-to-day management of all VIBRANT Group entities in all accountings aspects and be responsible for the complete accounting and financial statements of three holding companies.
**In more detail, the person will be responsible for**:
Oversee the day-to-day account payables of our USA Division.
Matching PO’s, Validating Taxes, Entering invoices & prepare the EFT and/or Checks
Managing the US credit card transaction.
Managing US credit card purchases.
Managing the complete cycle of the Business Ambassador transaction.
Entering data, entering invoices & processing payment
Doing the month-end payable conciliation.
Helping on the US bank reconciliation
Various other tasks.
Support the assistant controller and controller in the month end processes.
A DEC, DEP or at least 5-8 years experience.
Experience in project cost accounting
Month-end process experience.
Understanding Canadian and US taxes.
Excellent Excel knowledge.
Demonstrate analytical skills and a high sense of initiative.
High Attention to detail.
Knowledge of SAP by Design is a major asset.
