McCormick Canada is currently looking to hire an Associate Product Development Scientist to join our Product Development team. This position is located at our London location.
**Position Overview**:
Under the supervision of Senior Product Development staff, the Associate PD Scientist will assist in the development of innovative new products and the optimization of existing products per project guidelines, including but not limited to cost parameters, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Plans and prioritizes work to ensure deadlines and customer expectations are met
**Qualifications**:
University Degree in Food Science or related field
Experience in food technology or food processing is an asset
Team player with meticulous attention to detail, who possesses the ability to think creatively, is intellectually curious, has a willingness to learn and grow, along with excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple project priorities
Conducts self in a professional manner with excellent communication and collaboration skills exercised across all levels and functions within McCormick and externally with customers.
Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment in high pressure, sensitive situations
Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Office, DevEx, SAP)
Flexible to work overtime when needed and travel to McCormick and customer’s facilities
