Supply Chain Industrial Relations Intern

**Requirements**:
**Intern - Human Ressources & Labour relations**

**Summary of the Role**

The intern will have 3 main mandates: Support the preparation and activities surrounding the upcoming bargain agreement negotiation. Create & support initiatives or projects to develop our management teams. Accompany change management efforts and finally; map different process to optimize them.

**Responsibilities**

**Labour Relations**
- Assist in all jurisprudence and negotiation trends research
- Support the review of the CBA’s by analyzing trends in other agreements and make recommendations based on findings
- Coordinate preparation meeting with negotiation committee
- Support the development of training material for the Management in line with the negotiation strategy.
- Support and maintain the documentation related to the creation of the contingency plan
- Optimize grievances tracker and reporting
- Assist HRBP (HR Business Partner) in different Labour committee (Minute tracking, grievance, or arbitration preparation)

**Human Resources**
- Create an HRBP common tool kits for different topics;
- Review existing Onboarding material and create an “integration to management” tool kit for new managers;
- Support the change management portion of new project implementation;
- Support the teams and coordinate the creation of different learning initiative and operation specialty awareness;
- Participate and develop a training on absenteeism management;
- Preparing & maintaining documentation of various processes / procedures while identifying opportunities to improve and streamline current processes where needed;
- Review and create a long-lasting process that will ensure the right attribution and staff movement between employee and supervisors.

**Professional Qualifications**
- Experience in project management (asset)
- Demonstrated interest in labour relation
- Previous HR internships or experience (Asset)

**Required Competencies**
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or master program in Human Resources, Labour relations or related field
- Thrives in multi-tasking environments
- Understanding of Human Resources policies and procedures
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365
- Demonstrated communication skills
- Bilingual: French and English
