**Overview**
**Duties**
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of shop personnel to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
- Monitor workflow and adjust schedules as necessary to meet production deadlines.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide training and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, inventory levels, and employee performance.
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving operational efficiency.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise within the team promptly and effectively.
**Experience**
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing and custom fabrication environment is essential.
- Strong understanding of shop operations, machinery, and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and management.
- Familiarity with industry-specific software or tools is a plus.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all operations.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44 per week
