**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and answering any initial questions.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are sanitized and prepared according to health regulations.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, promptly addressing any concerns or requests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables, utensils, and other surfaces as required.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure efficient service.

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and practices.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in sanitation.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience with POS systems for order processing is preferred but not required.
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive rapport with guests.
- Previous experience serving.

Hours are Wed, Thurs, Friday and every Saturday. ( not for students returning to school as we need WED, THUR, FRIDAY in fall abs SAT)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
