**Operations Supervisor**

**Get Inspired by the Work You'll Do**
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the warehouse department
- Adhere to, and participate in developing and executing operational policies and procedures in areas of shipping, receiving and inventory
- Cultivate a positive and innovative work environment
- Development of associates including; training, productivity requirements, performance reviews and coaching associates to use proper practices and behavior
- Monitor the performance of the warehouse and assist in achieving business goals related to productivity, labor rates, shipping and inventory accuracy
- Ensure materials are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements
- Develop materials schedules and coordinate the efficient movement of materials
- Report and document inventory discrepancies
- Research errors that affect inventory
- Protect all company assets (including personnel)
- Work in a safe manner. Be conscious at all times of safety on the job by adhering to the established health & safety measures and practices of the company. Report workplace hazards and any violations of the relevant legislation to the employer.
- Core competencies/ skills include communications, resource planning, analytics, leadership skills
- Be available to work **3:30pm - 12:00am**, Monday to Friday
- Occasional travel may be required, as well a12:0s additional work after hours and/ or on weekends as required

**Your passion is sparked by**:

- 2-3 years' staff management experience in a Warehouse environment (5-15 staff members)
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics or a related discipline is preferred
- Strong time management skills, ability to multi-task and stay focused
- Knowledge of shipping/receiving and inventory control processes and procedures
- Proficient in MS Office, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Must be a strong team player
