Calgary, Canada Integrated Solutions Full time

**Bonus Program** - Comprehensive performance Bonus Program

We are seeking a **Field Operations Manager** to lead a Technician field team across Alberta.
You will manage a 20 to 30 person team and oversee daily coordination and performance.
This position is based in Calgary or Edmonton.

If this matches how you operate, we would like to hear from you.

**Our Company**

Integrated Solutions is a Canadian company specializing in the sales and installation of telecommunications products and services. With more than 14 years in business, we deliver commercial and residential telecommunications solutions across Canada.

Our work spans fibre optic installations, fixed wireless, satellite services, and a range of other telecommunications deployments. We partner with leading telecommunications providers and support everything from single residential installs to large-scale commercial projects.

We are an award-winning company with some of the highest Google ratings in the industry, earned through disciplined execution, consistent quality, and strong operational leadership.

Telecommunications experience is an asset, but it is not required. We are looking for a self-driven manager who creates structure rather than waiting for it, makes sound independent decisions, and runs a disciplined operation with mínimal oversight.

**Work environment**

This is an in-office, desk-based role. You will spend approximately 95% of your time at your desk managing field technicians through task management systems, scheduling and reporting tools, and daily communication.

You will work closely with a broader operations group that includes other Field Operations Managers, Inventory Managers, Dispatch Managers, and shared support teams such as HR and Finance. The role requires consistent coordination across these groups to keep staffing, equipment, scheduling, and financial controls aligned with field demand.

Occasional site visits or ride-alongs may be required for audits, training, or complex operational issues.

**What you will own**

You will be accountable for daily field performance in your assigned region. The role requires steady operational control to maintain completion, quality, and consistency.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Running day-to-day field execution from the office, including ensuring technicians are ready for assigned work.
- Coordinating with dispatch to manage schedules and respond to workload fluctuations.
- Leading technicians with clear expectations, coaching, follow-up, and performance management.
- Monitoring work quality through audits to maintain internal and external KPIs and meet vendor partner requirements.
- Managing escalations and customer complaints, and coordinating fixes.
- Occasionally, building and maintaining operating tools such as SOPs, and training guides.
- Tracking daily performance and communicating priorities, risks, and corrective actions in a high-volume environment.

**What we are looking for**

We’re looking for a decisive, self-driven leader who can take ownership and keep things moving without constant oversight. You should:

- Communicate clearly and consistently with technicians, vendor partners, and internal teams.
- Be comfortable holding standards and having direct performance conversations.
- Use data and reporting to make decisions and address issues quickly.
- Build structure and improve workflows using technology, automation, and practical tools.
- Stay organized and proactive without requiring constant direction or micromanagement.
- Be independent, willing to learn, and eager to grow—someone who takes ownership rather than waiting to be pushed.

**Minimum requirements**:

- Three or more years leading teams in a field operations or field service environment.
- Strong people management skills, including direct performance conversations.
- Reliable and organized, with the ability to run work from dashboards, queues, and reporting.
- Experience working with vendor partners in KPI- and SLA-driven environments.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across dispatch, inventory, HR, and finance.

**This role is not a fit if**
- You are seeking remote or hybrid work.
- You avoid direct performance conversations or do not like holding standards.
- You need constant direction or prefer roles where the plan is built for you.
- You are not comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with daily priorities.
