**Identifying Information**: Position Title: Shipping/Receiving Associate, MMD Mineral Sizing (Canada) Inc.

Reports To: Vice President, Shop Manager MMD Mineral Sizing (Canada) Inc.
Department: Operations
**Position Purpose**: Shipping, Receiving, Spares Sales and support for MMD Mineral Sizing
(Canada) Inc. Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Achieve cross-training and gain general knowledge in all areas of the warehouse.
- Shipping responsibilities:

- Pick, pack and label internal and external orders
- Arrange for courier pick ups and load trucks
- Preparation of shipping documents
- Maintain accurate records of shipments
- Receiving responsibilities:

- Ensure, quantities, and descriptions match
- Inspect, label, sort and store material
- Distribute material to proper projects or locations
- Warehouse responsibilities:

- Perform daily safety checks and maintain a safe, clean workspace
- Put away materials in appropriate locations or project bins
- Unload trucks and track movement of goods
- Assist warehouse and shop personnel o Maintain warehouse and yard storage areas
- Random tasks as needed
- Picking/Packing responsibilities:

- Accurately pick and pack proper material for respective job
- Label and store or distribute materials
- Quality Control
- Office Work
- Generate Quotations
- Computer skills
- Maintain records in inventory control system

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in any or all of the fields below would be advantageous but not essential, training will be provided
- Knowledge Health and Safety Standards for Industry an asset
- Experience in a machine shop environment for the assembly of products for industry
- Very Strong Interpersonal Communication Skills
- Knowledge of Manufacturing and Assemble of Large Machinery an asset
- Ability to read technical drawings for mechanical components an asset
- Basic carpentry skills
- Forklift & Crane certification or willingness to achieve certification
- Valid Drivers Licence (abstract to be provided upon request)
- Physically Fit to lift 50+ lbs and ability to engage in repetitive motion.
- Knowledge of Company Management & Accountancy Software an asset

**Remuneration**: Salary of 50-65k depending on experience
