**The Opportunity**:
Red River Co-op is recruiting for the position of a **Gas Bar Operations Manager **(comparable to a District Manager position) at our **Home Office **located at **10 Prairie Way, **in **Winnipeg **. This position is a key decision maker on all operational activities at gas bars, leads operational excellence and manages the relationship of approximately 15 retailer operated sites. The role leads execution in the field and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders. This includes merchandising, marketing, and member relations. The position requires a strong leader that ensures accountability, and financial acumen while managing the P&L Statements for each location.

Key accountabilities of the position include the following:

- Act as a role model in regards to providing world class service, ensuring that all Gas Bars provide an excellent customer experience;
- Create performance expectations, providing front line retail support, ensuring open lines of communication, and ensuring the follow through on our brand values;
- Assist with recruitment and training efforts at assigned Gas Bars when required;
- Ensure operations of our Gas Bars are meeting expectations by ensuring all operating procedures, Health & Safety/Environmental/Operations policies, and industry best practices are being followed;
- Maintain proper asset management with an emphasis on meeting, or exceeding budget at all assigned Gas Bars;
- Assist with the operations of the Convenience Store, Propane and Car Wash.

**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills, experience, abilities, and competencies:

- Experience in gas bar operations and/or retail sales would be an asset;
- Travel using your own vehicle is required to our various sites in and around the city of Winnipeg (mileage will be reimbursed), therefore a valid driver’s license is required;
- Good communication/interpersonal skills;
- Ability to coach, mentor and develop direct and indirect reports, through setting performance expectations, communication, coaching, feedback and ongoing support;
